How do I make a booking?
I handle all appointments digitally! Please click here before booking an appointment online. Bridal bookings please read through my bridal services menu before booking a consult online.

To maximize the ZBH experience, please be sure to leave enough time to find a parking spot! Leederville sucks for parking 🙃 I would allow 15-20 minutes to find parking & arrive 5 minutes early to your scheduled appointment. If you are lost, or running late, please text me on 0435 165 335. Arriving late may mean your service is reduced, or that I cannot honour your full appointment in the time left - but I will try my best! Full payment of the booked appointment is required even if the appointment time is reduced. For example if we do not have time to cut but one was scheduled in and you were late, you will still be charged for the cut.

Where are you located?
Zoe Barbera Hair is located at 656 Newcastle Street Leederville. I work by appointment only so please be sure to book in advance! There is parking available along Newcastle Street that is paid from 8am-8pm and I am a short walk from Leederville Train Station. All parking around the salon is paid and it is your responsibility to read street signs to avoid parking fines! Zoe Barbera Hair will not be responsible for any parking fines or tow-away fees that have been received during your appointment.

What are your opening hours?
I typically have my opening hours set Monday - Friday 10am - 8pm & Saturday’s 9am - 6pm.
I am open by appointment only & I do not take walk ins so please do not come into the salon if you do not have an appointment booked, as I will either not be there, or I will be with clients and unfortunately not be able to chat.

What is your cancellation policy?
* Any changes or cancellations to your appointment must be communicated at least 48 hours prior on 0435 165 335. If there is a question you would like to ask please text me. I often do not respond right away as I am with clients so please be patient!
* If you are lost or running late please text me! I may not be able to take your booking if you are more than 10 minutes late but I will try my best.
* A credit/debit card on file is required for ALL appointments. You will not be charged but this holds the appointment for you.
* Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 50% unless I’m able to fill your appointment. Please be considerate of my time and other clients wanting an appointment when booking your appointment.
* I have a strict No Show Policy and you will be invoiced 100% of your bill if you do not turn up to your appointment.

Can I bring my children with me?
For safety and liability reasons, I ask that you please leave your kids at home + come alone to your appointment. With bowls of chemicals, sharp scissors, and hot irons being used regularly - the salon is not the best environment for children. In regards to plus ones, there is no waiting area in the salon space so they will not be able to sit with you whilst you get your hair done. I work 1 on 1 with clients so that I can give you the absolute best version of myself and my work because you deserve it!

Do you cut hair as well?
Yes I do! I believe the key to healthy hair is a regular trim every 6-8 weeks.

Do you do keratin smoothing?
Yes I do! I love keratin smoothing and I use a formaldehyde free formula by Cezanne Keratin. Price starts from $300 and an exact price will be determined at checkout.

How long will it take me to go blonde? Is this possible without any warmth?
How long is a piece of string? It may take many sessions to be blonde or even lighter if you have previous colour build up. I am THE healthy hair colourist and the condition of your hair is my number one priority and I ALWAYS put the health of your hair first. I am not afraid to say no if I think that the condition of your hair can become compromised or can’t handle being lightened without breakage. I don’t do any colour work without Olaplex or K18 and if you refuse to have Olaplex or K18 as a preventative measure to preserve the health of your hair, I am not the colourist for you. Unfortunately warmth is inevitable when going lighter but I can advise on a plan and time frame once I have lightened your hair once and/or done a test strand.

What if I am unhappy with my hair? Can I request a refund?
I do not offer refunds on hair services. However, I am happy to have you come back in free of charge if there is something not quite right regarding your hair. This is never an uncomfortable experience and I am more than happy to make sure you you are in love with your new do! My policy for any alteration is that you must be able to come back in within 7 days of your appointment or there may be a service charge so please let me know ASAP if there are any concerns.
I will always try my best to accommodate all of my clients in any way I can. However if I feel uncomfortable in any way, or a new or existing guest is rude to me, another other client or a ‘coworker’ of mine inside the pink house, you will be refused service and/or asked to leave. I will absolutely not tolerate any disrespectful behaviour and have absolutely no problem refusing your business.

Can I have rainbow or pastel hair?
These colours are only possible on the lightest blonde and are EXTREMELY high maintenance. Pastels can sometimes only last 6-8 washes depending on hair porosity, shower water quality, heat styling, frequency of washing, etc. If you understand the maintenance, cost + time required for pastel/rainbow hair I am MORE than happy to help you get your hair goals.

How long will my appointment take?
Cutting/Styling appointments take approximately 1 hour.
Colour appointments can range from approximately 2-6 hours.
For colour corrections, it may take longer and I will advise of timing during consultation.

What products do you use?
I use O&M COR.COLOUR + Keratin lighteners, Redken shades eq glosses, Evo Fab Pro for vivids + pastels, Kevin Murphy + Eleven Australia for care & styling AND also OLAPLEX + K18!

I sell all my retail online here + I offer free click and collect within 4 hours + free same day delivery if ordered before 4pm.
